Earth collection contains an audiocassette, a CD duplicate of the audiocassette, and a transcript of an interview conducted with Barth in 1975 by Leona Barth Schwiem for the Blue Earth County Historical Society and the American Association of University Women, Mankato, Branch. Abstract The Emma Gail collection contains a typed copy of a journal written during the Gail family's move from Waupan, Wisconsin to Mankato, Minnesota in 1855. The first section of the journal contains Gail's accounts concerning the family's trip to Mankato. The second half of the collection contains her description of Mankato and her life in 1881.
